Description
Richard Scot, son of Anselm of Mow, has given, granted and by this his charter established to Kelso Abbey in free, pure and perpetual alms, the certain part of his land in the territory of Mow (ROX), namely a field at ‘Ladhladde' which contains about eight acres and one rood, which he gave for the salvation of his soul and his wife and for the souls of his father and mother and all of his ancestors and successors.
