Description
William Maule has granted and by this his present charter established to Kelso Abbey the quitclaim which David of Houburne; Robert de Pesale; Mabil mother of Susanna, Robert's wife; Alexander of the River; Matilda, Alexander's mother; and Hugh Mulard, Walter son of Baldwin, William son of Robert and Walter son of Ralph of Essex, by the concession of their wives; made to Kelso of the fishery of 'Redehouh' (BWK), just as the charters of them testify and establish. Additionally, he granted to them their stall on his land of Tweedmouth (BWK) and their fence on the same land to dry their nets.
