Description
Robert de Chartres, knight, son & heir of Thomas de Chartres, son & heir of Thomas de Chartres, son & heir of Walcher de Chartres has granted and by this his present charter established to Kelso Abbey, the church of Trailflat (DMF) and the church of Drumgrey (DMF) with the land, teinds and all other pertinents, in free, perpetual and pure alms, for the salvation of his soul and of his wife, Christina, and for the souls of his predecessors and successors. He also observes and inspects the charters of his predecessors, Walcher de Chartres and Thomas de Chartres.
