Description
Elias Chaunum [has given] to Coldingham Priory one toft in the villa of upper Ayton as an augmentation, 19 acres of arable land in the same villa, namely, 13 acres acres which he acquired from Maurice son of Merlin in the Prior of Coldingham’s court, and 6 acres which he acquired from the daughters of Maurice in the same court, to make the king’s forinsec service thereupon.
