Description
Pope Innocent IV warns and asks the king of Scotland to receive with favour Master Abel, then papal chaplain and archdeacon, now bishop of St Andrews, and to restore to him the temporalities of that see; the election of Master Robert, dean of Dunkeld, having been annulled. In the same manner to the king’s counsellors, the chapter of St Andrews, and the clergy and people of St Andrews.
