- Pope Honorius III takes the bishop of Glasgow and his ecclesiastical and worldly goods which he possesses or in future will possess into his protection and, following the example of Pope Alexander, Lucius, Urban, and Innocent, establishes to him especially the villas of Glasgow (LAN), Govan (LAN), Shettleston (LAN), Kinclaith (LAN), Carstairs (LAN), Eddleston (PEB), Lilliesleaf (ROX), Hermiston (MLO), Stobo (PEB), Ashkirk (SLK), Ancrum (ROX), and Troneyhill (ROX) with all pertinents and the land of ‘Scrogis’ in the villa of ‘Line’ (either West Linton, PEB, or Linton, ROX), also the donation of the prebendaries of Glasgow of the churches of East Kilbride (LAN), Carstairs, Stobo, Peebles (PEB), Traquair (PEB), Ashkirk, Lilliesleaf, Ancrum, Old Roxburgh (ROX) and the chapel of the castle of Roxburgh, Morebattle (ROX), Wilton (ROX), Moffat (DMF), Kirkpatrick Juxta (DMF), Dryfesdale (DMF), Castlemilk (St Mungo, DMF), Colmonell (AYR), Campsie (STL); and the liberties and immunities which Kings David, Malcolm and William granted.
