Pope Honorius III establishes to the abbot and convent of Melrose the land of Hassendean (ROX) with its pertinents, as collated to the monastery by W[illiam], king of Scotland and J[ocelin], bishop of Glasgow, with the consent of his chapter, for the sustenance of beggars and pilgrims meeting in that place.
