Description: Pope Honorius III writes to the bishop of Moray noting that from the bishop’s part he has learned that as the kings of Scots hold the right of patronage to the churches of Elgin (MOR) and Dyke (MOR), the bishops of Moray had clerics instituted in them who were conferred to the king for his approval. The king of Scots, being pious and prudent, wished that the right that he had in the said churches might be converted for the use of the bishop; the pope thus establishes that what was made by the said king be held as ratified.
