Document 2/139/67 (Dugdale, Monasticon, 615-6, no. 82A)

Description
Pope Honorius III writes to the bishop of Whithorn, the abbot of Glenluce and the archdeacon of Whithorn, noting that he has heard from the bishop of Glasgow that the monks of Holm Cultram have usurped parochial churches in his diocese and made them into granges and chapels, expelling the clergy and the tenantry. He therefore asks the bishop of Whithorn to take the necessary action.
