- Alexander, king of Scots, to Edward, king of England; having received his letter complaining of his injuries done to Edward’s miners of Alston by Alexander’s men, he at once ordered his bailiffs of Tynedale to inform him on the matter, and if found to be as Edward had represented, will make fitting amends.
