Description
Pope Innocent III writes to the prior and convent of Paisley, taking the monastery and its persons and everything justly and reasonably possessed into his protection, and has established especially the churches of Cathcart (LAN), Rutherglen (LAN), Carmunnock (LAN), Kilbarchan (RNF), Mearns (RNF) and Pollock (LAN), granted by Jocelin, bishop of Glasgow, of good memory, with the consent of the chapter of Glasgow, and by Florence, former bishop-elect, while he presided over the court of the church of Glasgow, towards them, their hospital, beggars and sustenance, together with pertinents, teinds, rents, lands and other possessions.
