Description
Fergus, son of Gilbert, late earl of Strathearn, has given, granted and established by his charter to Inchaffray Abbey one chalder of oatmeal in the villa of Auchtermachany (now Strathallan, PER), in perpetuity, by the hand of his fermers (firmarii) of the same villa. For the security of the payment of the said meal to the abbot and canons on the feast of St John the Baptist, he binds himself and his heirs to this payment.
