Description
Uhtred son of Fergus, to his lord and father, Christian, bishop of Galloway (i.e., Whithorn), noting that he and his heir (unnamed) have granted and given to St Leonard and to St Peter’s Hospital, York, one ploughgate of land and a toft in Troqueer (KCB), in free alms, free and quit from all secular custom and service, for the souls of David, king of Scots, and his father Fergus, and his mother, and his ancestors, with all its liberties and customs.
