Description
Alan son of Roland, constable of Scotland, has granted, and established by his charter, to Dryburgh Abbey and the mother-church of Channelkirk (BWK) one toft and croft in the villa of ‘Samsonschelis’ with all the other lands that Henry son of Samson gave the said canons within that land, as Henry’s charter bears witness, saving Alan’s service.
