Description
Uhtred son of Fergus and his wife Gunnilda daughter of Waltheof, with the consent of their heir Lochlan, have given, and established by their charter, the church of Torpenhow (Cumb.) with land and all the rights justly pertaining to that church, to Holyrood Abbey, in perpetual alms, for the redemption of the souls of Waltheof and Fergus and all their ancestors, as freely as any church in the diocese of Carlisle.
