Description
Patrick, earl of Dunbar, for Melrose Abbey; has granted that donation which Master [William of Greenlaw] [made] in his court at Edrom (BWK) of land in territory of Hassington (BWK) which Master [William] dissaised himself and solemnly gave them sasine. This land, which earl’s tenant Robert de Muschamp gave to Master William to possess in perpetual right, is to be held by the abbot in free, pure and perpetual alms by those bounds by which Master William held it, with common pasture of villa of Hassington.
