Description
Duncan, earl of Fife, makes known to all his responsible men, Scots, English and French, that he has given and granted and by his charter established to St Andrews Priory the church of Cupar (FIF), with lands, teinds, oblations, and all other just pertinents, in perpetual alms, for the welfare of souls of himself and Countess Ela his spouse, free from exaction and reclamation by his successors.

This charter has a very similar witness list to _St A. Lib._, 242-3. Not mentioned in 1163 papal confirmation of Alexander III; confirmed by King William (_RRS_, ii, no. 168).
