Description
William, son of Earl Patrick, and Christina Corbet, his spouse, have given, granted and by their charter established to St Andrews Priory, in pure and perpetual alms, Martin son of Uviet, holding of the said canons on their lands in ‘villa Mauricii’, with the sons and daughters of Martin, whom they have determined were the neyfs of the late Walter Corbet. Whereas they wish that the canons of St Andrews should have Martin with his sons and daughters and with all their progeny in posterity, with no challenge, counter-claim or vexation.
