- Prior Simon and convent of Coldingham, with consent of Sir Bertram, prior of Durham, have set free from bondage Halden, son of Dune and his heirs so that he holds free and quit from all custom, service and exaction, toft and croft which prior held in Coldingham, and 20 acres in 'campo' of Coldingham His 'forfeit' is to be 3s. and his 'heriot' and 'merchet' the same.
