Prior John and convent of St Andrews inspect confirmation (Dryb. Lib., no. 10; H2/10/255) of Gamelin, bishop of St Andrews of resignation by Sir John de Balliol to Dryburgh Abbey of rights to patronage of church of Lauder (BWK). With consent Prior John ratifies this confirmation to Dryburgh Abbey of said church of Lauder just as chapel of mother church of Channelkirk (BWK) for their own uses.
