Description
Abbot Henry and the convent of Kelso make a statement concerning Draffan (LAN), namely, that in the year 1271, he found that Sir Hugh of Crawford, knight, and Alice, his wife, had possession of the land of Draffan and its pertinents, paying yearly 2½ marks to Kelso.
