- King Alexander II for the convent of Dalmilling on Ayr; has granted donation which Walter, son of Alan, steward, made of whole land of 'Mernes' (Mearns, RNF?), with common rights in peat diggings of Prestwick (AYR); half his fisheries between castle of Ayr and villa of Irvine; mill of Prestwick with its suit; toft of Edoc in Newton on Ayr, which is between toft of Matilda Gestinger and toft of Walter, son of same Edoc, with Edoc's free service; lands and pastures of 'Drumloy' (possibly Drumler, RNF), 'Swineshahes' (in Neilston, RNF) and 'Petithachengon' (now Auchengowan, RNF), reserving to Walter and his heirs only beasts of chase and birds, and with right to build and assart; church of Dundonald (AYR), with chapels of Crosbie (AYR) and Riccarton (AYR); and church of Sanquhar (St Quivox, AYR).
