Description
King Alexander II has granted composition made between William [Malveisin], bishop of St Andrews, and Abbot Ralph and convent of Arbroath concerning lands, rents and conveth of Fyvie (ABD) and Tarves (ABD), Inverboyndie (Boyndie, BNF), 'Munbre' (lost?, in Boyndie), Gamrie (ABD) and Inverugie (ABD), and Mondynes (KCD), which Bishop William granted and quitclaimed to abbot and convent, reserving ancient rent of Mondynes, that is, 3s. 6d., and a portion of conveth which used to be paid at Banchory-Ternan (KCD), in return for 10 marks payable yearly by chamberlain of Arbroath, as chirograph made between the parties bears witness.
