King Alexander II for Melrose Abbey; has granted donation which John de Normanville made of land called Muirhouse (now Muirhouselaw) in territory of Maxton (ROX), which his father Hugh de Normanville gave to monks, and which John established, by right marches specified in John's confirmation, with addition of land held by Hugh de Helleya, and with common pasture and fuel and all easements
