Description
King Malcolm has granted to Newbattle Abbey a saltpan and arable land in Callendar (STL) from the gift of King David, and common easement in pasture, water, and fuel for the saltpan in the wood of Callendar; in addition he grants all the arable land the monks have in Callendar at a yearly rent to the king's bondmen of 4s.
