Description
Walter, bishop of Glasgow, for Dryburgh; at intimation of his predecessors, Herbert and Jocelin, bishops of Glasgow, and with consent of chapter, has granted church of Lanark (LAN) with chapels of Pettinain and Cleghorn, free, quit and immune from all exaction pertaining to mother church of Lanark, following form of his charter to canons concerning above collation and that ploughgate of land which Nicholas, the clerk, held in Pettinain, and church of Lessudden (St Boswells, ROX).
