Walter, archbishop of York, to archdeacon of Galloway; writes concerning vacancy of see of Whithorn, and noting that without a bishop, they are not able to procure canonical sanctions, examinations and confirmations of ecclesiastical personas, institutions and destitutions of rectors and vicars of churches in said diocese.
