- David, king of Scots, has given his beloved nephew Robert, steward of Scotland, earl of Strathearn, the barony of Methven (PER), which was Robert's, and which Robert resigned to him; holding by Robert and Euphemia, countess of Moray, his spouse, the king's relative, and their legitimate heirs; holding in feu and heritage, in one integral free barony, with the services of freeholders and the advowson of churches, for service owed and wont.
