David, king of Scots, has inspected a wadset that John Livingston of Drumry made to Simon called Shepman, his burgess of Lanark. [John lets out at wadset two pieces of land of 'Bankes' (Bankhead, LAN?) and Briarybank (LAN) in the territory of Lanark, and two acres of arable within the 'Lytilferonflat' and the other in the Nineacres, for 12 pounds sterling.] The king confirms this, saving his service.
