- Description
- David, king of Scots, has approved that donation which Patrick of Dunbar, earl of March and Moray, made to his alumnus (foster-child) John of Hepburn, of all the lands and holdings of Over Markle and Nether Markle (ELO) in the earldom of March, holding by John and his male heirs of his body, and failing that, by Patrick of Hepburn and his heirs, in feu and heritage, as contained in the earl's charter, saving our service.
