- Robert, king of Scots, to his chamberlain of Scotland, informing that he has understood that the abbot and canons of Dryburgh were accustomed to receive 20s annually from the burgh ferme of Roxburgh for the lighting of their church, by charter of his predecessor the lord king William. King Robert commands his chamberlain to make the payment on the feasts of Martinmas and Pentecost every year and make allowance in his accounts.
