John Stewart of Bunkle (d.1298)

Biography
John Stewart of Bunkle, was an auditor for Bruce during the Great Cause, supported Wallace's rising in 1297, and died at the battle of Falkirk in 1298. He did not hold the office of 'steward'. [http://www.oxforddnb.com/view/article/54327]. Father of Alexander Stewart of Bunkle.
