Hugh Fleming, son of Simon son of Simon

Biography
Active in the middle of the thirteenth century, Sir Hugh Fleming was the son of Simon son of Simon son of Bertolf, and nephew of Hugh son of Simon son of Bertolf. Since both Hugh son of Simon son of Simon and his uncle Hugh son of Simon son of Bertolf were both active in the 1230s, it is not always possible to distinguish clearly between the two.
