John of Braid, master, canon of Glasgow

Biography
Watt, Graduates, 61: John took his name from Braid near Edinburgh. He was a Master and canon of Glasgow and had a brother, Ralph of Braid, who was also Master. He is probably the same as Master J., chaplain of Bishop Walter and perhaps the same as a chaplain and clerk called John (not master) who appears in 1223 in a Glasgow context.
