Simon of Carnwath, master (fl.1236×46)

Biography
Watt, Graduates, 48, 84-85: Simon occurs as Master 1236×46 and was possibly a member of the Somerville family who were lords of Carnwath, Lanarkshire. It is more likely that he took his surname from the church of Carnwath (Glas. dioc.), which might make him the same as Simon of Biggar, q.v.
