One of two seals of Edward of Restalrig, depicting what Stevenson and Wood describe as David rescuing a lamb from the jaws of a lion, and what the Durham catalogue describes as a naked figure kneeling on the back of a beat (perhaps a lion) and holding it by the jaws. The background is covered with *quatrefoils*.
